Margaret Goldsmith, MHC-LP is a compassionate psychotherapist specializing in children, adolescents, couples, and family therapy. Margaret works with a range of individuals with mild to severe psychopathology including depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, and life transitions. In addition to her work with adults, she has significant experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her experience with children and adolescents in group and individual settings includes navigating grief and loss, substance use, and school refusal.
Margaret is a queer-aligned therapist and has experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities in both group and individual settings. With a deep understanding of human behavior and relationships, Margaret helps her clients navigate life's challenges and develop healthier ways of coping and relating. Her warm demeanor and collaborative style create a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Margaret holds a Master’s degree from The City College of New York in Mental Health Counseling.
