Kara completed her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Mental Health Counseling, and also holds master’s degrees in Public Health (MPH) and Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University. Before entering the field of psychotherapy, she worked extensively in healthcare as a hospital operations manager and director at a digital health company specializing in women’s health. These experiences have equipped her with a unique understanding of the healthcare system and the broader determinants of well-being, which she thoughtfully integrates into her clinical work.
