Psychotherapist for Adults
Jessica brings a collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment where patients can explore their experiences and understand themselves more deeply. She believes patients are the experts in their own lives and works alongside them to uncover patterns, challenge beliefs that may no longer serve them, and build confidence in making choices aligned with their values.
Jessica’s clinical work draws from Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Approaches, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Frameworks. She is particularly interested in working with patients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, family and relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, major life transitions, and self-esteem. Jessica also has a special interest in supporting parents and families of children with special needs, individuals balancing caregiving responsibilities across generations, and those navigating divorce, separation, and changing family dynamics.
Drawing from her background in music, dance, acting, and performance, Jessica brings a unique understanding of creative and performance-oriented environments. She is particularly attuned to performance anxiety, identity, self-expression, achievement, and the emotional demands of artistic careers. Her varied experiences inform an individualized approach that recognizes the many roles and responsibilities that can shape a patient’s well-being.
In addition to Jessica’s areas of special focus, she is qualified and experienced in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, OCD, PTSD, trauma, grief, burnout, couples and family issues, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictive disorders (including alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, and food), ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dissociative disorders, psychotic disorders, chronic illness adjustment, sleep disorders, somatic conditions, work and career stress, identity and existential concerns, perfectionism, cultural and racial identity stress, and life transitions. Using an eclectic range of evidence-based approaches, she provides compassionate, individualized care tailored to every patient she serves.
Jessica has a strong foundation in mental health counseling through her formal training at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Prior to her clinical training, she managed teams of technology consultants working with major financial services and media organizations, giving her insight into organizational dynamics and high-pressure professional environments. She has also volunteered with the DogAbility Center’s Fear of Dogs program, supporting children and adults through graduated exposure work with certified therapy dogs. Jessica graduated with honors from the French Culinary Institute and is proficient in American Sign Language, for which she is working toward certification.
