Kelly Robinson Ricculli

Psychotherapist for Adolescents, Adults, and Couples

Kelly is an empathic and strengths-based psychotherapist who believes that patients are the experts in their own lives. She approaches the therapeutic relationship with humility and curiosity, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients can explore difficult emotions and experiences. Kelly works collaboratively with patients to recognize their existing strengths while developing greater insight into patterns that may be contributing to distress.

Kelly’s integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Approaches. She combines practical strategies with deeper reflection to help patients develop effective coping skills and work toward lasting change. Kelly works with adults navigating anxiety, panic disorder, depression, trauma, parenting concerns, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, including marriage, separation, fertility and family changes, and career stress. She also has experience supporting patients with substance use and recovery, acute psychiatric concerns, and the lasting effects of childhood adversity.

Kelly brings more than a decade of experience in leadership, community engagement, advocacy, and international development. Her work with the International Rescue Committee focused on resettlement, asylum, and integration, and she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia. This background informs her understanding of the social and structural circumstances that shape a patient’s life.

In addition to Kelly’s areas of special focus, she is qualified and experienced in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, OCD, PTSD, trauma, grief, burnout, couples and family issues, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictive disorders (including alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, and food), ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dissociative disorders, psychotic disorders, chronic illness adjustment, sleep disorders, somatic conditions, work and career stress, identity and existential concerns, perfectionism, cultural and racial identity stress, and life transitions. Using an eclectic range of evidence-based approaches, she provides compassionate, individualized care tailored to every patient she serves.

Kelly holds a Master of Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work, where she was selected as a B. Robert Williamson Jr. Adaptive Leadership Fellow. She completed clinical training at Summit Oaks Hospital’s Partial Hospitalization Program, working with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns. She also completed specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Medical University of South Carolina. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Politics from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Saint Joseph’s University.
