Jessica Kaufman is an empathic and attuned psychotherapist who understands that the foundation of meaningful change begins with a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. Rooted in psychodynamic and strengths-based approaches, she believes that exploring past experiences is key to gaining insight, understanding current patterns, and fostering healing. Collaborating closely with her clients, Jessica helps them uncover their inherent strengths and equips them to face challenges with resilience and self-awareness.
With her warm and nonjudgmental presence, Jessica cultivates a safe and open space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. She is dedicated to helping individuals tap into their inner resources and develop new, effective coping strategies that promote growth and healing. Whether working with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or life transitions, Jessica brings empathy, respect, and deep sensitivity to each client's unique needs, supporting them in making lasting personal transformations.
Jessica is a second-year Master of Social Work student at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and an intern at Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute. She has extensive experience in the visual arts and arts education, as well as crisis work with sexual assault survivors. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a Bachelor's degree from Yale University.
