Sarah is a dedicated and thoughtful psychotherapist with a strong background in working with individuals diagnosed with anxiety and depression. She draws from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), holistic approaches, and psychodynamic therapy.
Sarah brings a diverse perspective to the practice, having spent eleven years as a special education teacher for young children. She is experienced in working with families, supporting couples in seeing different perspectives, and approaching unfamiliar situations with an open mind. This unique skill set allows her to support patients in examining behavior both externally and internally.
Sarah works with patients to focus on behavioral patterns and uncover the root causes of struggles and concerns. She empowers patients to create actionable changes that improve their overall quality of life.
Sarah earned her Master’s training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William & Mary. She also holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education (M.A., Ed.) from New York University. Sarah excels in creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing space, offering patience and unconditional positive regard for every individual she works with.
